  1. Organizational structure
  • Total of staffs: 5 members (1 Assoc Prof, PhD; 1 master; 3 bachelors);
    •  Director: Assoc Prof.Dr. Le Nguyen Doan Khoi
    •  Vice Director: BSc. Le Trung Hieu
    • Technology transfer expert: MSc. Pham Thanh Loi.
  • Total of part-time officials: 37 (1 Prof; 15 Assoc Prof; 10 PhD; 11 Masters who specialize in agriculture, aquaculture, machine and food technology, economics, rural development, foreign languages, environment);
  • Two specialized departments: accounting; technology transfer, training, researching and consulting.
  1. Functions and responsibility of CTTS
  • Acting as an advisor for Board of Director in managing the activities of services, production, development and technology transfer which are carried out by Can Tho university (CTU’s) staffs;
  • Verifying, supervising and supporting CTU’s departments and institutes which conduct the functions as mentioned above;
  • Holding and coordinating with CTU’ staffs, departments and institutes in order to conduct the activities of production & services, consultancy, training, research & technology transfer;
  • Coordinating with CTU’s departments and institutes to link with localities and support enterprises in the Mekong Delta through the activities of production & services, consultancy, training, research & technology transfer.
  1. Current activities and the past achievements

Current activities:

+ Technology transfer;

+ Training, researching and consulting in productive, processing, economic activities;

+ Linking with localities;

+ Supporting enterprises in technology improvement, increase in product quality, product distribution and promotion, market linkage, marketing skills, and so on…

+ Coordinating with CTU’s departments and institutes to conduct the activities as mentioned above;

+ Supporting and coordinating with CTU’s units as well as outside units in order to carry out the activities as mentioned above.

The past main achievements:

+ Through linking with localities, CTTS has conducted many training courses, researches, consultancies;

+ Through supporting enterprises, CTTS has carried out many technology transfer contracts and distributed over 300 products by 14 retailers around the MD;

+ Through coordinating with CTU’s units, CTTS has signed many technology transfer contracts.

Linkage and collaboration with outside organizations:

+ Universities and Institutes: researching;

+ Local governments: consulting in socioeconomic development;

+ Provincial departments: technology transfer, researching and training;

+ CTTS becomes official member of the regional Value Chain Capacity Building Network (VCB-N) in the Asia-Pacific Region (Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, Bangladesh, China, India & Indonesia)
